Choosing lubricants for vacuum systems requires know-how, and in the worst case, choosing the wrong oil can cause the risk of the pump breaking down - even explosion. Depending on the level of the vacuum and the applications, different oils and greases must be used, which are suitable for the application in question. For example, special oils are used in cold areas where gas is pumped or in areas where the pumped substance is oxygen.<\/p>\n

The pumped medium must be clean before it is introduced into the vacuum pump\/system to avoid sensitive equipment failure due to impurities. Usually, the pumped medium requires filtering before pumping. Each substance requires a suitable filter, which ensures efficient filtration but also the longest possible service life of the filter. If necessary, the exhaust gases of the process must also be filtered before being led away.<\/p>

Furthermore, the oils used in vacuum pumps evaporate into mist inside the vacuum, and its separation, recovery and reuse are vital for the functionality and economy of the process. The right kind of filter collects the oil mist and returns it to use, which reduces oil consumption and at the same time improves cost efficiency.<\/p>
